Peace of mind starts the day you buy your drone.
Purpose of This Plan
The Xpece Care Drone Protection Plan is designed to give Xpece drone owners peace of mind. We understand drones can crash, fly away, or be damaged during real-world use — especially in challenging environments like water, wind, and remote areas.
This plan provides one (1) full drone replacement within a 12-month period due to accidental damage, flyaway, or water-related failure. It’s our way of standing behind your drone investment — and helping you get back in the air faster.
Eligibility Requirements
To activate Xpece Care coverage, the following conditions must be met:
- Xpece Care must be purchased within 48 hours of the original drone purchase.
- The drone must have been purchased new from Xpece.com or an authorized dealer.
- The coverage is valid for 12 months from the date of drone purchase.
- The coverage is tied to the original purchaser and drone serial number. It is non-transferable.
Coverage Inclusions
Xpece Care covers the following types of loss or damage:
1. Accidental Crash Damage
- Mid-air collisions
- Impact with trees, water, buildings, or terrain
- Fall damage due to loss of control or sensor failure
2. Water Damage
- Water ingress in electronic components.
- Short-circuiting or internal corrosion from water landing
- Failed water recovery attempts
3. Flyaway Incidents
- Complete loss of the drone due to GPS error, compass interference, or app/controller disconnection, fishing line incident or user error.
4. Signal Interference Failure
- If flight logs show that your drone experienced signal interference causing loss of control or flyaway
5. Motor/Electronics Failure During Normal Use
- Must be unrelated to user modification, improper storage, or unauthorized repairs
Coverage Exclusions
Xpece Care does not cover the following:
- Loss or damage due modification or illegal use.
- Damage from unauthorized modifications or firmware tampering
- Damage from using non-Xpece batteries, propellers, or accessories
- Theft or loss from misconduct or
- Remote controller, batteries, bait release, and accessories
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect flight performance
- Pre-existing issues or damage prior to the plan purchase
- Use in commercial or military operations unless otherwise specified
Theft Coverage
Xpece Care includes limited coverage for theft, provided that the following conditions are met:
✅ Covered Theft Scenarios:
- The drone was stolen from a secured location, such as a locked vehicle, home, or storage facility.
- A police report is filed within 48 hours of the incident and submitted with the claim.
- A sworn incident statement, signed and witnessed, is submitted along with the report.
❌ Theft Exclusions:
- Theft resulting from negligence, such as leaving the drone unattended in a public or unsecured location (e.g., beach, park bench, open vehicle)
- Incidents where there is no police report or witness
- Theft claims made with conflicting or unverifiable details
- Theft claims that show signs of intentional mischief, staged incidents, or attempted fraud
⚠️ Fraud Disclaimer:
Any attempt to falsify a theft report, submit misleading information, or stage a theft will result in:
- Immediate voiding of the Xpece Care plan
- Permanent disqualification from future XpeceCare eligibility
- Possible legal action and notification to relevant authorities
Replacement Process
Here’s how it works if your drone is damaged or lost:
Step 1 – Submit a Claim
- Visit xpece.com/support or email support@xpece.com
- Include:
- Order number
- Serial number of the drone (if available)
- Description of incident
- Photos/video of the damaged
- Location and time of incident
Step 2 – Claim Review
- Xpece support will review the claim within 2 business days.
- We may ask for additional details such as:
- Videos and pictures
- Remote controller screenshots
- Return of the damaged drone if recoverable
Step 4 – Receive Replacement Drone
- Xpece will ship a replacement drone of the same model.
- Replacement drone ships within 3–5 business days.
- Replacement units come with a 90-day warranty.
Limitations
- Only one (1) replacement drone is allowed per XpeceCare plan.
- Replacement does not reset the plan duration.
- If the original model is discontinued, we will offer a model of equal or greater value.
How to Purchase
Xpece Care can be purchased:
- During checkout on xpece.com
- From an authorized Xpece dealer (within 14 days of drone purchase)
- Directly from customer support with proof of purchase
Additional Notes
- Xpece Care does not replace general liability insurance. It is a voluntary product protection plan.
- Plan is void if drone is used for illegal purposes.
- If fraudulent claims are detected, plan will be voided and the customer blacklisted from future claims.
